Kosciuszko National Park Education Centre - Summer
The Kosciuszko Education Centre has for decades developed and delivered exciting and engaging curriculum-linked field trips and activities for school students of all stages.
For Primary Schools - In Summer students can enjoy a full-day program exploring the mountain forests and using elements of the scientific method to become Environmental Scientists working to identify and understand the special plants and animals in the park.
Other programs explore the role of national parks in protecting special environments and help students learn about environmental interactions and life cycles. The program includes a range of activities focused on Indigenous life and use of the mountain landscape. Programs include Aboriginal Stories (Stage 1), Aboriginal Customs & Practice (Stage 2) and Aboriginal Identity (Stage 3). These programs are presented at Yarrangobilly Caves or near Tumut.
